AUDIO Versus VIDEO Training

After several months of recording and rerecording, the Breaking The Code Online Course is now available with AUDIO tracks on every single one of its more-than-600 steps. What an undertaking! But the result was well worth the effort. The biggest benefit is that you can now hear the proper inflection and emphasis intended in the material presented. You will gain a greater understanding of the material and do so in less time. The narrator’s pleasant voice carries you along with ease from step to step. You will find that your mind won’t wander, as minds are prone to do when one reads for long periods of time.

In fact, audio training in tandem with onscreen presentation of the transcript of the material is by far the best way to learn online. Seeing the text as you listen to it allows you to more readily spot words that you don’t understand and get them defined, thus bringing about greater comprehension.

So why isn’t video training an even better way to train? Well, if we’re talking about video clips that demonstrate a concept or act out a scenario, it certainly would contribute to one’s comprehension of a complex idea. However, most “video” courses merely consist of “talking heads” that drone on and add nothing to the material they’re reciting. In fact, they tend to distract you by trying to be interesting to you. Further, you lose the opportunity to ensure you don’t go past words you do not fully understand.

Our online course contains a virtual glossary that will aid you to get defined those words with special or unusual meanings or hard-to-find definitions. All you have to do is mouse over the word on the screen and the full definition pops up! And if you have to stop to look up a word, simply pause the audio track. It’s as simple as that!

AUDIO… It’s the way to go!
